California Film Awards
Each year at the annual California Film Awards Ceremony and Filmmakers Dinner, awards and cash prizes are bestowed upon all the winning filmmakers and screenwriters. Juried awards are given in several categories to celebrate achievements in filmmaking, screenwriting and acting. Cash prizes are awarded for the Grand Jury Prize, presented to the best film in competition among all categories, and select Special Jury Prizes awarded for originality of vision and superior execution as determined by a jury of industry professionals.
The 2010 California Film Awards Ceremony and Filmmakers Dinner
will be held December 15, 2010. All award-winning films and filmmakers
will be announced publicly and to the media at this time.
The top three finalists in the screenplay competition also receive cash prizes.
In addition, select winners will receive various software packages from our sponsors and partners.
